Families with Challenging Children
Founder as Parent

Compassion, Connection, Solutions...Love
In mid-career, Suzanne and her husband adopted their son and it turned their worldview on parenting upside down. As a result, Suzanne has a special interest in families struggling with challenging children. Bringing together her doctoral training in Psychology and the Biological Sciences, and her understanding of the neurological impact of early childhood trauma, she created a new personal and professional journey to help her son. She studied emotional intelligence through the Institute for Health and Human Potential, attended a therapist training with the Post Institute for Family Centered Therapy, and became a certified Beyond Consequences Instructor to support families with challenging children. She has been a co-counselor for over 14 years, and attended and served as staff for Premier Seminars; she is a graduate of Discovery, Focus, Effective Communication, Styles of Communication, Being in Relationship and Values Based Living. Because of her passion for people of all ages, she went on to become a Certified Performance Coach and Certified Experiential Facilitator to bring these opportunities to families everywhere. Her specialty is to support families in breakdown, particularly those with adopted and biological children diagnosed as ADHD, Bipolar, Oppositional Defiant (ODD), and Reactive Attachment Disordered (RAD).
